What is genuine happiness? When can I say that the exact happiness I am feeling is genuine? Maybe, it is the happiness that I felt when he speaks about some stupid things that made me laugh and be out of breath (and unfortunately at times causes me a stomach ache), it is about his witticisms and wisecracks that sometimes instead of laughing I just wanted to look on his eyes and wonder - how come I tripped my feet off and fall while I am just merely sitting right in his front? So genuine happiness does not solely centers to family for me, but genuine happiness is when I am with him.
And sometimes genuine happiness is not solely about the laugh he gave me but also a company with loving silence sometimes awkward ones when we are together, and often this kind of happiness comes unplanned. These are moments you know not what you want but you were given, moments you do not know it's going to happen but it happens in its most natural, simple, and profoundly beautiful ways. For to me, genuine happiness is my serendipity and so is he.
Happiness is not about the infinite laughter we made, sometimes it is not on what we see, but happiness itself is a state of mind. Grins do not totally signify happiness, it is the mind full of joys that makes you smile and the moments being crafted, that is happiness.
Genuine happiness comes sometimes with a veil, there are certain events you did not expect you will be happy because of him and I think that’s the most real, these are the things unplanned, things that are not ready-made. It’s a box of surprises sometimes, it’s like a soul being charged optimally that made your entire day so beautiful and you can’t stop thinking that you are just happy. (-Claire Ann Alinsug)
Genuine happiness too are those moments when you come to ask yourself, ‘why am I happy when I’m with her?’ Days would be incomplete without her, hence, this type of happiness arrives making your day complete, and so making things too priceless, invaluable. And lastly, you will know that the happiness is real when the smile is not forced to, when laughter is naturally coming. (-James Walson Pacaldo)
Genuine happiness is both acceptance and commitment. It is about being committed; at sad times, during troubles, we always solve the matter, we talk about matters maturely not leaving anything behind. Also real happiness is when my special someone accepts me for who I am, from my good to craziest feature, when she accepts the true me amidst the flaws I have. And you’ll definitely realize that something is a genuine happiness when you do not even notice that you are smiling at all, it just comes within. (-Rey John Pialago)
Genuine happiness is being true to oneself. You do not have to pretend to be happy, and that genuine happiness happens when we meet someone whom we do not need to hide, and this happiness will come as well to us when we become contented solely with our partners, it is when you’re contented that you are with him that you experience being truly happy. (-Cybele Tantay)
Genuine happiness is not about the material things. It is about being together with the person you love, it is spending each of the moments with them, laughing together, crying together, that is happiness, and not simply happiness but the most real one. (-Pam Manalo)
Genuine happiness, is not about the luxury, and it is not about minding the physical because if it is then that would be a shallow happiness. Genuine happiness is an unconditional happiness, you love and you smile without conditions, without inhibitions. (-Maime Christia Ycong)
Genuine happiness is a formula of reality plus contentment plus open-mindedness. (-Charmaine Gentallan)
Genuine happiness is something so profound and with infinite definitions. I know you have that sets of definition of genuine happiness inside you.
