In response to Elizabeth Browning's Sonnet- How Do I Love Thee:
‘How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.’
That was what Elizabeth had timelessly said, but I say –
I love thee! I love thee in a thousand unsaid profound ways
for my love is silent and yet now my heart has speak
that I, honestly, could hardly breathe.
I love thee just as how you love the moon,
the lunaris which infinitely stayed beyond earthly joy and sorrow.
I am no metaphysical poet and yet I love thee
just as how He loves his creation, but I know that’s beyond what I can.
But my soul had a glance to its future, and look yonder –
I love thee as to whatever extremes, I know my love will endure.
Endures like the time-honored civilizations standing still today,
like how the Catholic religion survives, Oh my love I pray.
My love is so strong-willed as Nazis, yet tender like the Jewish Anne.
I love thee, and you, like the cold waters which upwells in the ocean
you have nurtured my transient being in its hopeful entirety.
I love thee much more as you held my hands so passionately; and
like the indefinite scale of the world that Euclid’s geometry can’t solve
I love thee for indeterminate reasons at all.
For, in truth, I love thee for love sake only,
since it’s the only way that my love could outlast eternity.
