When all I have left were memories in my head and all I want is to drown myself from nostalgia, when all I want is to keep my eyes close and imagine, reimagine all the things I want to keep alive, like rebuilding another sandcastle that has passed through the waves but I couldn’t for things have passed, and I ought to create another journey, a different work of art with the sand again, something more beautiful than the former works I’ve made that is worthy to be washed by the waves. It might be washed away but surely it will leave a trace, a trace that only it could fill my longing and personhood, for it was too novel and worth-remembering. But I have to move on with the memory and be deserving of the memories I am about to craft in the future. I just hope that those people I am going to work within the crafting of my memories will be good, good enough to make it worthy of remembering.
