What I meant by Lying

This one is a crazy speech. It's funny how I try to recall writing this in a jeepney while going to school. This is a speech still for my cousin. It's an entertainment speech, I think this is entertaining enough, at least for me! Haha | August 19, 2019

Have you ever tried lying? Have you ever tried telling your parents that 'ma, pa I have projects' just to have money because you told your parents you are going to school for school project when in fact you just planned it out yesterday that you are going to hang out with your friends? We all probably have done this. Don't be ashame because we all does, maybe even just once or maybe all of your life you have been lying- to your parents, your friends, teachers or to yourself? How could you even lie to your own self? Yes you can, it is the moment when you told yourself you are ugly when you are not, or otherwise when you said to yourself you are good-looking when you are not. Oops, watch out for that.

We have been living in a world of lies I believe. When we were children we were told to behave or we will be eaten by ghost or monsters. I remembered myself everytime I tried to sneak out at our house but my parents told me not to because there will be that woman with wings, honestly not a bird or butterfly, but an old woman who at the middle of the night during full moon, an old woman with white hair and wrinkles I think and eye bags too, eyebags because they just spent their whole nights not sleeping and its fangs will eat me. Im not saying that the old woman is your grandmothers but possibly yes. Well no, its a lie because I have not seen one, only old old old women with one tooth in the front of their mouth and I bet they could not eat me with a tooth only because I have this hard skin and she has a one fragile tooth.

Lying is always wrong. I am not pertaining to lying into your couch the whole day and enjoy being lazy and scolded by your parents because you just spent the whole lazy day sleeping. Well its wrong too but what lying mean here is telling lies and not the truth. Its like telling me you love me when in fact you do not. And its wrong, its wrong to lie and telling me that you do not love me because it hurts. Well anyways, lying is wrong and it is bad no matter how good its ends will be, but as I know for a fact results of lying will never be good because you just ended up hurting people or to yourself. You'll end up breaking and losing your relationship with other people or the relationships of other people and you know that in your conscience that it is not good at all.

So you cannot lie to me because its bad. When I ask you what are your answers in our assignment and quiz, you should tell me what exactly is your answer because you might give me wrong answers and its bad. Well then asking is bad too, and cheating is. But as I have been repeatedly saying lying is bad and bad is it to lie, it's all the same thing anyways.

As we always know, honesty is the best policy and let us all have a great day!
